Guest speakers, renting out a concert venue, and slashing half the school day off just for a high school graduation ceremony seems a little obnoxious don’t you think?
I know that I’ll probably make a couple of enemies saying this, but I think it has to be said: high school graduation is not a big deal. High school is like a little speed bump in your life, and graduation should just be a quick ceremony where they hand you your diploma and say, “congratulations, now get out of here.”

I’ve heard of some weird diets before, but I’ve never, ever heard of anything as crazy, weird, and just plain shit-stupid as the breatharian “diet.”
What is it? Well, the breatharian diet is a special diet that people who are extremely stupid take. The idea is simple: live off of air, and nothing else.
Well, with such a great idea, what the hell could possibly go wrong? I mean, the worst thing that could happen would be losing too many pounds… right?

I hate PETA.
Just to clear things up before I launch into my tirade, I’m generally OK with the whole “humane treatment of animals” movement when they don’t try to convince other people to give up meat and become vegans. Unfortunately, they cross the line on too many occasions, like when they dare try and shove their ideals down my throat. That means, when it comes to PETA, almost every single day.
If you think that animals are being treated inhumanely, OK. I agree that sometimes animals are treated wrongly, but when it comes to eating animals, PETA should stay the fuck out of my business. If they decide that they want to become vegans, great. Just don’t try to convert me, because I like my meat and I will NOT give it up.

I hate Mac fanboys.
I just read this article on CNN, and I thought it was rather interesting… until I scrolled down to the comments portion of the page.
The article was about one of Microsoft’s new ad campaigns, a 10-page “white paper” about the “Apple tax,” the premium that Apple users pay for thier computers. As I read it, I just thought it was kind of a clever idea and a little funny. I mean, the Apple tax isn’t exactly unknown; everybody knows that you’d be paying more money for an Apple computer with the same specs as a PC. OK… so why exactly was everybody fired up about this? I mean, it’s a clever ad, and it’s true.
The comments though, were filled with Mac fanboys trying to defend Macs. Like Apple needs to be defended by a handful of ordinary customers… if they can’t do that themselves, then why the hell are they still in business?
